ABOUT SUE

I became interested in Contact Care because of my broodmares. Like many stud owners, some of my mares where used for breeding purposes because they'd been injured and were unsound for riding. I’d heard good things about Contact Care, and while not expecting miracles, had hopes that it would make them more comfortable. The first mare who had a treatment from a local practitioner cantered away after her session, and had a joyful hoon around the paddock. This was the first time I'd ever seen this mare do anything more than a slow, stiff trot. I was impressed. So impressed, that I started training in Contact Care so that I could do treatments on my animals myself.
As well as working obvious injury sites, if I see an animal standing or moving in a way that catches my attention, I give them a treatment. If an animal's behaviour changes, or they are agitated or upset for no apparent reason, then I give them a treatment, and usually notice an immediate improvement.
Thanks to Contact Care, I have happier, healthier animals who are easier and safer to handle and care for.
As my skills and experience developed, friends and family started asking for Contact Care treatments, too. I found I really enjoyed working with humans, and was pleased with the results being reported.
Now that I have completed my training, working with people has become the main focus of my practice.
